A residential design for a renovation and addition in Nashville, Tennessee.

Residential Architect Nashville

The project shown above is a renovation to an existing one-story home in East Nashville. Just south of Shelby Street on Long Avenue, lived an existing home with low ceilings and a choppy interior layout. Though the existing foundation and walls up to about 4' high were salvaged, the existing roof had to make way for more space.

The foundation of the existing structure was reused and the brick painted grey at the front of the new home. The interior was completely demolished to open up the family space at the main floor and add 3 bedrooms to a new upper floor.
