Natural Home Design
The home lives in historic east Nashville. ArchiNerd was mindful of the home’s past integrity and aimed to salvage all original craftsman details including the porch columns, stair bannisters, front door and windows (with old-school hinged wood storm windows).
Adding small details such as wallpaper in the powder room, a laundry shoot from the Master Bedroom and Haint Blue paint on the front porch ceiling allowed us to emulate past practices. It was very important to restore these elements to their former glory and pay homage to the original home’s charm.

Modern Touches
Details make the space. Warm, natural details can make minimal spaces feel inviting.
Elements like patterned tile, smart kitchen appliances, a lofted bedroom and contemporary light fixtures elevate the space to provide a modern feel to the spaces and create a comfortable/functional living and working environment.
